My name is Evan Lenz. I used to work at XYZFind Corp., before it got acquired by Interwoven. I'm now working as a content management consultant for Seattle University School of Law, specializing in XML-based solutions. I'm also currently enrolled in the SU Master of Software Engineering program.
My technical background consists mostly of XML and XSLT, supplemented with some Java programming. I have been involved in the W3C XSL Working Group (currently as "invited expert"), developing the next version of XSLT (and XQuery 1.0). My Web site has a few of the miscellaneous things I've worked on using XML and XSLT.
My educational background is in music. I graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Music in piano performance (and secondary almost-major in philosophy) from Wheaton College, which is about 25 miles west of Chicago.
Photos of my son (now 2 years old) can be seen here, a Web site I generate statically, using XSLT (naturally).
I'm just beginning to learn Python, having spent much of my vacation in Cabo on the beach reading David Beazley's Python Essential Reference
