Paid Work
- Web Sites and Applications; UI design, programming; workflow, knowledge management, data laundry. Recent projects include an executive information system for law enforcement (Delphi, Map Objects, SQL), the UI design for a tradeshow/event workflow application, and a number of legacy data conversion projects (prototype in Python, production code in Delphi). Client side: Delphi, HTML/CSS/Java Script, C# (it's growing on me), C/C++, with a sprinkling of VBA code mostly for transforming MS-Word documents into something web compatible.
Server side: Linux/UNIX, SQL (preferably PostgreSQL), Apache, qmail, Perl, PHP, C#, ASP.NET, MONO, and oh yes, Python
Python
- In everyday work, I use Python mostly in a support role: for automating releases, some regression testing, and prototyping. For my personal work I like to use Python where it makes sense.
[Personal] Projects
- A "thin" GUI toolkit for Python, that does not depend on anything but Python and plain vanilla Windows (initially).
- Digital Art with Lightwave 3D, Photoshop, and a digital camera.
