Seattle Central Community College

Broadway Edison Building, room BE1110/1111

1701 Broadway Ave, Seattle, WA 98122

This is the main building, the large brick structure on the west side of Broadway, north of Pine. Maps and directions.

Many buses serve the college throughout the day and evening. These routes stop at Broadway & Pine at the college (parenthesized routes stop at Broadway & John three blocks away):

See the Metro Transit website for schedules. (If you're riding light rail from the airport or a Sound Transit bus, get an Orca card at a rail station so you can transfer to Metro without paying extra. And mail your card to a local friend after you leave town. :) )

Public parking is available in the Harvard Garage (corner of Pine & Harvard, 1609 Harvard Avenue, Seattle, WA 98122) for $7 on Saturday and other nearby parking also available.

Restaurants

The biggest number of restaurants are northward on Broadway. There are also significant concentrations on Pine and Pike streets and on East Olive Way.

Southward on Broadway are Tacos Guaymas (Mexican) and Mediterranean Express (Arabic), both on Broadway & Pike next to QFC.

Northward on Broadway is Annapurna (Indian) at Denny, Charlie's (diner) at John, Ha Na (Japanese) at Thomas, Pho Cyclo (Vietnamese, with superior pho) at Harrison, the Byzantion (Greek) at Mercer, and a dozen other places.

Westward on Pine Street is Bill's (pizza) at Harvard, Linda's (short-order cook), Hot Mama's (pizza slices).

For beer & grub, the Elysian at 12th & Pike has lots of brews on tap, and The Six Arms at Bellevue & Pike has microbrews from northern Oregon. The Stumbling Monk at East Olive Way & Boylston has Belgian beers but no food.

Plum is a vegan bistro at 12th & Pike.

The best pizza (in Mike's opinion) is Amante's at East Olive Way & Summit.
